Barnacle, Liverpool
A Liverpool Brunch served at @barnacleliverpool every Saturday and Sunday 10-12pm.
Yesterday, I was kindly #invited to @barnacleliverpool to try their new Brunch menu created with locally sourced ingredients.
We ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes, Liverpool Breakfast and a side of sourdough toast with Barnacle preserves.
The pancakes were so fluffy and my fave topping is Streaky Bacon and maple syrup so this being available was such a treat.
The Liverpool Breakfast tasted beautiful. The egg was perfectly cooked and everything tasted superb. Love how they had a potato cake on this and how the Edge & Sons Merguez sausages had a bit of a kick to them.
@barnacleliverpool ethos is embedded in seasonality, sustainability and provenance. The quartet of chefs who founded the intimate Scouse brasserie – The Art School’s @porkyaskew , Bone and Block’s @harrymarquart and local kitchen stars Kieran Gill and Jake Lewis – embody the gastronomic soul of Liverpool, charting its historic maritime origins right to the present-day.
The team at Barnacle are very proud to reveal their brand-new Brunch service launched on Saturday 9th July and will run every weekend from 10am – midday.
They have created an elegantly pared down menu with a range of cocktails, coffees and fizz.
